Job Description
The Member Experience Specialist (MES) at VASA Fitness is responsible for delivering a fun and meaningful experience to members and guests during every visit. This role includes greeting members in a friendly manner, creating personal connections, handling problem reports, organizing equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness of the club. Additionally, the MES team enhances the first impression of VASA Fitness, sells memberships, drives upgrades, and conducts tours for guests and members around the gym.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a genuine, kind attitude when interacting with guests and members.
- Greet guests and members warmly and provide valuable assistance in a courteous manner.
- Anticipate guest and member needs and respond by providing clear direction, accurate information, and support through technology and tools.
- Be familiar with membership plans, pricing, amenities, add-on options, and class formats.
- Provide club tours, sell memberships, assist members with upgrades, book personal training consultations, and sign members up for personal training.
- Consistently find ways to enhance the guest and member experience by sharing feedback with leadership and collaborating with the team to implement improvements.
- Execute daily responsibilities according to VASA's high standards, including following guest and member check-in procedures, completing daily cleaning, restocking merchandise, and processing sales.
