Job Description

The Member Experience Specialist at VASA Fitness is responsible for delivering an enjoyable and meaningful experience to all members and guests during their visits. This includes warmly greeting members, fostering personal connections, promptly addressing issues, organizing equipment, and maintaining cleanliness within the club—all while adhering to operational standards. Additionally, the MES team is involved in creating positive first impressions, promoting memberships, facilitating upgrades, and giving tours to guests and members.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a genuine, kind attitude when interacting with guests and members.
  • Welcome guests and members with a smile, eye contact, and courteous tone.
  • Anticipate guest and member needs and provide clear direction, accurate information, and support through tools and technology.
  • Be familiar with membership plans, pricing, amenities, add-on options, and class formats.
  • Provide club tours following the Guest to Member Journey, sell memberships, assist with member upgrades, book personal training consultations, and sign members up for personal training.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance the guest and member experience by sharing feedback with leadership and collaborating with the team to implement improvements.
  • Execute daily responsibilities to high standards, including following guest and member check-in processes and procedures, completing daily cleaning and hourly club walks, restocking merchandise, and processing REVIVE sales.
