Mobile Mechanic

Job Description

Alpha Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing our fleet of trucks and trailers across multiple markets. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Perform major and minor repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair air and electrical systems.
• Handle minor diesel engine repairs.
• Repair suspension, brake systems, and components.
• Maintain tire integrity.
• Ensure a clean and organized work area.
• Travel between markets as required.
• Complete other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must own tools.
• DOT certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Experience in welding.
• CDL Class A driver's license.
