Job Description

Shearer's is seeking a dedicated Night Shift People Leader to join our team at Waterford Township, PA. As a People Leader, you will play a key role in leading and directing employees in a manufacturing environment while ensuring safety, quality, customer service, productivity, and continuous improvement objectives are achieved. You will also provide clear direction, leadership, and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, coaching, and on-the-job assignments.

Responsibilities

• Direct employees and plant floor activities to achieve a consistent and high-quality product.
• Enforce safety and sanitation rules and principles to maintain a safe workplace.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Company regulatory requirements.
• Participate in evaluation and training of hourly personnel to maintain positive employee relations.
• Utilize metrics/data to evaluate and improve work processes and maintain line related system and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and cross-functional teams to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
• Plan and establish work schedules.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in a related business or technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in a production, operations management, or supervision role, preferably in the food processing industry.
• Bilingual - Spanish and English a plus.
