Nurse Practitioner - Lancaster PA

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to perform medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In this role, you will review electronic medical records and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran, documenting the exam findings required by the VA through a web portal. It's important to note that disability determinations are made solely by the United States Veterans Administration, and this role encompasses performing Disability Assessments without treating or prescribing medication. On average, you will perform Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day during full-time hours (8am-4pm).

• Interested in performing Independent Medical Assessments.
• Able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
• Skilled in time management and meeting requirements.
• Proficient in computer usage.

Requirements

• Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
