Job Description

We are hiring a Project Engineer at Bakerly Barn LLC to lead the technical aspects of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will design, specify, and commission process equipment, provide engineering support, and oversee deviation investigations for equipment and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include liaising with suppliers, coordinating equipment installation, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Understand technical specifications and needs outlined by the Engineering Manager.
  • Manage bid processes with suppliers, analyze quotes, and provide recommendations.
  • Coordinate equipment installation with contractors and internal teams.
  • Schedule and oversee the launch of new equipment and production lines.
  • Train operators and technicians on equipment operation and procedures.
  • Identify process and equipment optimization opportunities for quality improvement and cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Offer technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide technical information to achieve company goals.

Requirements

  • Flexible schedule availability.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Engineering & Plant Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of equipment designs and technical software proficiency.
  • Ability to collaborate with foreign suppliers.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a focus on results.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and ability to work in demanding environments.
