Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Community Services Registered Nurse at Matheny School and Hospital in Frelinghuysen, NJ. This position involves being the primary nurse for assigned community residents, providing skilled nursing care, and coordinating care plans within the community. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the health and well-being of our residents with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to community residents.
- Coordinate care plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Train and educate Direct Support Professionals on resident health issues and treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and contribute to interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Maintain accurate documentation of health care activities.
- Respond to crises and intervene promptly as needed.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- State of New Jersey RN license.
- Minimum of one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Valid NJ Driver's License.
