Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) at VitalCore Health Strategies provides quality care in accordance with the local state nurse practice act. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, coordinating with healthcare team members, and ensuring patient well-being while upholding best practices within the profession. The RN must maintain detailed records, supervise healthcare personnel, and carry out patient care plans effectively.

Registered Nurse Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi.
• Active CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable about state laws governing practice.
• Completion of initial and annual clinical competencies.

Registered Nurse Essential Functions

• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Administer medications and monitor patient reactions.
• Record medical information and vital signs.
• Consult with healthcare team members to assess and plan patient care.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient conditions.
• Supervise healthcare personnel and assist with patient treatments.
• Educate individuals and families on health topics.
• Prepare rooms, supplies, and assist with examinations.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Other duties as assigned.
