Job Description
The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Pain Clinic team. The ideal candidate will provide advanced professional nursing care to patients, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of health needs. The Ambulatory RN II will deliver direct patient care, offer education to patients and families, and prepare them for continuing care according to Organizational Standards of Patient Care and Nursing Practice.
Requirements
- State of Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- 1 year of experience in a relevant clinical area.
- Ability to work independently in all areas of the Ambulatory RN I accountabilities.
Educational Expectations
The University of Vermont Medical Center emphasizes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) workforce. External candidates hired or current employees promoted to an RN position must pursue their BSN as outlined in the offer letter. Current internal RNs are encouraged to obtain a BSN to support this initiative.
On-Call
On-call duty is not required for this position.
