Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) to join our dynamic team at the 9E Neuroscience Intermediate Care unit. This unit specializes in caring for adult Stroke, Neurosurgery, & Neurology high acuity patients, offering a fast-paced and high-functioning environment focused on ensuring safe outcomes. Nurses on this unit have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients and families.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to achieve desired outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred unless currently employed at MUSC.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
