Job Summary

8W is a 24-bed inpatient unit specializing in General Surgery and Neuroscience. You will care for adult and geriatric patients with various medical diagnoses, including strokes, brain tumors, and spine surgeries. This is an opportunity to work in a specialized environment and gain experience in neurology and neurosurgery.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
• Licensure as a registered nurse in South Carolina or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Physical and Mental Requirements

As a Registered Nurse II, you must be able to perform various physical activities while providing patient care. This includes standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working in different environments. Good vision, hearing, and motor functions are essential for this role.
