Join our team at WDC Appliances as a Showroom Manager in Santa Barbara, CA. As the Showroom Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing business operations, employee and designer recruitment, sales, order fulfillment, and more. This role involves managing approximately seven employees and requires a proactive and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business strategies to increase customer base, drive store traffic, and enhance profitability.
  • Train, motivate, and mentor sales staff to achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
  • Oversee store administration and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
  • Report on market trends, customer preferences, and financial performance.
  • Propose innovative ideas to expand market share.
  • Conduct performance evaluations to identify training needs and support career development.
  • Handle customer and staff issues effectively and professionally.
  • Set a positive example of conduct and performance for the team.
  • Undertake additional store management responsibilities as required.

Experience Needed

  • Previous showroom management experience: 5 years (Preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and business acumen.
  • Proven track record as a successful retail Store Manager.
  • Strong customer relationship management abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Schedule

Full-time position with an 8-hour shift.

Weekend availability required.

Compensation

$75,000.00 per year.
