Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Technician In Charge to join our team at First Student, the largest school transportation provider in North America. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, diagnosing complex issues, and supervising technicians to ensure the reliability of our school bus fleet.
Responsibilities
- Supervise technicians and manage maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Maintain accurate service records and track work orders.
- Optimize shop performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with willingness to obtain CDL.
- 5+ years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience.
- Prior experience in a lead technician or supervisory role preferred.
- ASE certifications and mechanic’s tool set are a plus.
