Job Description
El Paso Animal Urgent Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our practice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. The successful candidate should have certification or a minimum of three years of experience in the field, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain records, consent forms, and other documentation
- Admit patients and greet clients in a friendly manner
- Dispense medications, pet foods, and supplies
- Assist veterinarians in medical and surgical procedures
- Perform routine laboratory procedures and analyses
- Administer treatments, injections, and anesthesia
- Take and develop radiographs and vital signs of animals
- Perform dental cleanings and other assigned duties
