Activities Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Activities Manager to join Vi Living, a company recognized as a Great Place to Work and one of Glassdoor's 100 Best Companies to work for. As an Activities Manager, you will oversee the Lifestyle department and lead the creation and implementation of enriching programs that promote whole person wellness for residents in Assisted Living, Memory Support, and/or Skilled Care.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate all resident programs to ensure a variety of engaging activities and special events.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance resident care plans related to lifestyle.
• Evaluate program success and modify offerings based on resident feedback.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate department employees.
• Establish community relationships and lead Resident Program Committees.
• Prepare and distribute promotional materials, newsletters, and activity calendars.
• Maintain inventory of programming supplies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines for skilled nursing activities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Patience and ability to work with older adults.
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer skills.
• Experience in long-term care and working with people with dementia/Alzheimer's.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience with supervisory experience.
• Licensure or certification as applicable by the State.

Pay Range

USD $70,909.00 - USD $88,629.00 per year.
