Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure

Job Description

We are looking for an Area Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment at our data center(s). You will lead a team of engineers and managers, ensuring 99.999% uptime and compliance with SLAs. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you will drive improvements for operational efficiency and cross-market effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead 24x7 facility operations.
• Mentor and coach team members.
• Identify and implement operational improvements.
• Develop and follow company policies and procedures.
• Oversee disaster recovery exercises and maintenance activities.
• Create reports on facility performance and customer utilization.
• Provide training for operations staff.
• Conduct facility tours and configure monitoring/alerting systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Experience in critical infrastructure environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications.
• Experience in data center operations.
• 3+ years of management experience.

Physical Requirements

• Sit, walk, or stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Travel occasionally.

Base Pay Range

• Estimated salary range: $112,700 - $145,400.
