Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team at Badger Building Center. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with product selection, processing orders, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer customers' inquiries and provide product recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Process orders, schedule deliveries, and handle returns.
• Assist customers with estimates and upsell additional products.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and product displays.
• Communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams.
• Stay knowledgeable about available products, read blueprints, and understand construction methods.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills for computations and measurements.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in building materials is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move frequently and lift up to 25+ lbs.
• Use hands/fingers actively and stand/walk during work.

Compensation

Hourly wage range: $11.8 - $18.8
