Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is a critical role responsible for delivering physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. Candidates will troubleshoot technical issues, follow operational procedures, and provide essential maintenance support in a 24x7x365 environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve facility and customer issues promptly.
• Maintain professional conduct and adherence to operational processes.
• Document technical problems accurately using the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with vendors and carriers for access and escort purposes.
• Perform physical installations and maintenance of services.
• Ensure cleanliness and security of the data center.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• 1 year of IT support experience preferred.
• Network+ or CCNA certification desired.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions.
• Capability to handle heavy lifting and use of equipment.
• Installation and maintenance of cabling.
