Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is an essential 24x7x365 role responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. The position requires a solid understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, PC troubleshooting, and management applications. The role involves timely issue resolution, adherence to policies and procedures, local access provision, physical installations, cleanliness maintenance, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution and/or escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Maintain professional conduct during data center duties.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and document them.
• Follow Support and Data Center policies, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

• Passion for customer experience.
• Understanding of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and meeting commitments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work aloft.
• Work in cold temperature environments.
• Maneuver pallet jacks and lift heavy objects.
• Pull and install cabling.

Hourly Pay Range

• Estimated hourly pay range: $19.33 - $22.67.
• Actual pay depends on candidate's experience, location, and qualifications.
