Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is a critical role responsible for providing physical and technical support to customers and resources. This role requires expertise in Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should excel in representing Flexential professionally and technically, ensuring smooth interactions with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution of Facility and customer issues.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and document them efficiently.
• Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies.
• Support 24/7 operations, including working various shifts.
• Assist in physical and logical installations of Flexential services.
• Maintain Data Center cleanliness and perform Facilities Rounds.
• Manage shipping/receiving activities for customers.
• Operate Badge Access Security System and assist the Critical Infrastructure Manager as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• 1 year of experience in IT Support environment preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as Network +, Security +, CCNA, Microsoft MCP, or MCSA are a bonus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Capability to work in cold environments.
• Aptitude for handling heavy objects and cabling installations.
