Job Description
The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is a critical 24x7x365 role that involves providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. Candidates must possess a solid understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, PC troubleshooting, and management applications. The role requires professionalism, technical expertise, and the ability to handle customer interactions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
- Maintain a professional attitude and conduct while performing data center duties.
- Troubleshoot and document technical issues using Flexential's ticketing system.
- Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies, processes, and procedures.
- Assist with physical and logical installations of Flexential services.
- Operate and manage the Badge Access Security System.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experience.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in IT Support environment preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Network +, Security +, CCNA, Microsoft MCP, or MCSA are desired.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders, work aloft, and maneuver heavy objects.
- Capability to work in cold temperatures and install cabling.
Hourly Pay Range
The estimated pay range for this position is $19.33 - $22.67 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
