Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is an integral role responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. This 24x7x365 position requires a strong understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting. The role involves timely issue resolution, troubleshooting, following data center policies, providing local access, and assisting in installations. Candidates must be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and adaptable to a 24x7x365 operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Troubleshoot technical issues using the ticketing system.
• Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies and procedures.
• Assist in physical and logical installations of services.
• Maintain Data Center cleanliness and perform Facilities Rounds.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for customer experience.
• Understanding of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Preferably 1 year of IT Support experience.
• Network+, Security+, or CCNA certification desired.
• Must have AA, BS, or High School Diploma.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work aloft.
• Capability to work in cold temperatures and lift heavy objects.
• Proficiency in cabling installations.
