Field Solutions Engineer II - Channel

Job Description

We are hiring a Field Solutions Engineer II at Flexential to work on opportunities in Hybrid/Cloud, Managed Services, and Large Retail Colocation. This role involves providing pre-sales technical expertise to drive new CMS Deal Pursuits and support retail colocation opportunities. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in cloud and managed services, possess in-depth knowledge of various technologies, and be able to design tailored architectures to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Regional Partner relationships and provide technical enablement.
• Architect Cloud and Managed Services solutions for new customers.
• Support sales teams by creating technical designs and documentation.
• Stay updated on product offerings and industry trends.
• Create and present complex solution designs to potential clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent preferred.
• 6-9 years of relevant experience in sales or sales engineering.
• Ability to design solutions for technical and business audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical, team-oriented, and successful in the managed IT services field.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based web applications and infrastructure.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of data center components, cloud platforms, and databases.
• Understanding of IT security best practices and disaster recovery solutions.
