Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned Corporate Risk Management Problems, identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and documenting actions taken to resolve issues. You will collaborate with various teams and actively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle and coordination of actions to resolve issues.
  • Effectively challenge root cause analysis and coordinate actions to fix issues.
  • Maintain inventory of problems and monitor progress in ServiceNow.
  • Identify and propose process improvements and mentor Service Support Specialists.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in relevant field or 4+ years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or 1+ years of related experience.
  • Experience in risk management and people management is a plus.

Compensation

Base pay typically ranges from $75,500.00 to $127,900.00, with additional incentives based on various factors.
