MEDICAL MALPRACTICE ATTORNEY

Job Description

Chimpoulis & Hunter, PA, an insurance defense law firm in Plantation, Florida, is looking to hire a Medical Malpractice Attorney with 2 to 3 years of experience in medical malpractice or general defense litigation. The ideal candidate will handle cases from presuit to litigation phase, possess strong legal research and writing skills, and be an active member of the Florida Bar.

Responsibilities

• Handle cases through presuit and litigation phases.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and responses.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Provide reports on case status.
• Work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Florida Bar member in good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Customer service-oriented with clear communication.
• Self-motivated with a focus on career growth.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in-office in Plantation, Florida.
