Job Description

Marion County Health and Human Services is looking for an experienced Mental Health Skills Trainer to join the Adult Behavioral Health's Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB) team in a supportive housing site. This part-time position involves working with individuals diagnosed with mental health challenges and co-occurring disorders, providing skills training, case management, and supervision to support their independence and recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group skills training services under service plans.
  • Deliver behavioral health services using person-centered approaches.
  • Offer PSRB supervision and monitoring to ensure compliance with release orders.
  • Maintain the PSRB supportive housing setting and conduct necessary house activities.
  • Document services accurately and timely.

Requirements

  • Three years of relevant work experience in behavioral health services or related field.
  • Knowledge of mental health concepts, community resources, and recovery models.
  • Active listening skills, cultural competency, and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
