We are seeking a dedicated Student Radiology Tech Assistant to join our team at MUSC. As a student radiology technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting with imaging exams, performing diagnostic procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring high-quality services. Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers is essential in this role. Ideal candidates should be actively enrolled in an accredited Radiology program.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing various diagnostic procedures including minor trauma, fluoroscopy, and routine studies.
• Preparing examination rooms and acquiring necessary supplies.
• Communicating effectively with patients, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Responding to emergency situations and adhering to protocols.
• Ensuring patient confidentiality and data integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Enrollment in an active Radiology Technologist program.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
