Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Mental Health Therapist 2 (Underfill) to join Marion County Health & Human Services' Enhanced Care Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing behavioral health services to individuals with serious mental health disorders. Your duties will include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, coordinating crisis stabilization, and overseeing daily activities to support the recovery and well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy, case management, and crisis intervention services.
• Oversee daily activities and outings for clients to promote social engagement and skill development.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to review treatment progress and transition residents to lower levels of care.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• State licensure or eligibility as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
• Minimum of one year of post-Master's degree experience in behavioral health for Mental Health Therapist 2.
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, assessment tools, and treatment protocols.
• Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to ethical standards.
