Job Description

We are hiring a Network and Systems Administrator at Rand Technology, LLC to join our global IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining efficient, reliable, and secure network services and cyber security practices across all our sites. You will work closely with the CIO to design, implement network infrastructure solutions, and bring new technology to Rand Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain network services and cyber security practices for all company sites.
  • Design, plan, and implement network infrastructure solutions to meet organizational needs.
  • Monitor network activities and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
  • Administer network operational procedures and standards to exceed business expectations.
  • Stay updated on security threats, vulnerabilities, and ensure network security.
  • Manage malware prevention systems, email routing, and endpoint security.
  • Participate in incident response and provide expertise during emergencies.
  • Research and propose latest technology advancements to enhance customer experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Strong background in cybersecurity and networking with industry certifications preferred.
  • Experience with firewall, network design, SD-WAN, Azure, and datacenter management.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability assessment, disaster recovery, and computer forensic tools.
  • Proficiency in Cisco CLI, Meraki, Fortinet, and VPN management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7-8 years of experience in firewall, network design, and OSPF routing.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, datacenter, and cloud delivery models.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability assessment, MFA, and disaster recovery.
  • Proficiency in Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, and firewall management.
  • Experience with IPsec VPN, SIP, QOS, and LAN/VLAN.
  • Ability to work onsite at Irvine Corporate HQ 4 days a week.
