Physical Security Customer and Facility Installation Specialist

Job Description

The Physical Security Customer and Facility Installation Specialist at Flexential plays a crucial role in supporting the Physical Security Installation Lead Engineer. You will be responsible for overseeing installation projects, sourcing technologies, and ensuring the smooth implementation, programming, and troubleshooting of physical security systems from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure servers, workstations, and programmable components.
• Manage and supervise physical security installations with attention to detail.
• Prepare progress reports and manage expenses for projects.
• Evaluate system performance to prevent malfunctions.
• Maintain technical knowledge of current standards and industry developments.

Required Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in supervising vendors and installation projects.
• Experience with low voltage systems, access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.
• Ability to read and understand site plans, blueprints, and system schematics.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Relevant industry knowledge and the ability to adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASIS Certification.
• Experience with access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
• Knowledge of network design, Genetec, and Windows Server.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods, walk or stand for 25% of the time, lift 50 lbs.
• Experience with moderate keyboard usage and occasional travel may be required.
