Job Description
The Physical Security Customer and Facility Installation Specialist at Flexential will play a crucial role in supporting the Physical Security Installation Lead Engineer, overseeing installation projects from start to finish, including sourcing physical security technologies and labor, programming and troubleshooting security systems, and managing worksites for construction and remodeling projects. The specialist will also collaborate with various teams to design and implement new security systems, conduct system audits and troubleshooting, manage ticketing systems, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure servers, workstations, panels, and other components.
- Lead physical security installations and address installation issues.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise security system installations.
- Procure equipment for installations and prepare progress reports.
- Evaluate system performance and maintain technical knowledge.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for quality assurance.
- Manage projects through industry standards and protocols.
- Design, implement, and maintain physical security systems.
- Communicate effectively with end users and stakeholders.
- Support security assessments and risk management initiatives.
- Update documentation and meet contract obligations.
- Provide on-call support and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supervising vendors and installation projects.
- Technical expertise in low voltage systems.
- Knowledge of networking, security devices, and system troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Change Management and Incident Management processes.
- Strong communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications and additional experience in security systems.
- Familiarity with network design, software applications, and ticket management systems.
- Physical ability to meet job requirements.
