Job Description
We are seeking a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing reliability equipment to analyze and detect potential machine failures, allowing us to minimize downtime effectively. You will review and analyze data to predict pending failures, utilize advanced technology for data collection, and provide crucial support to Plant Operations and Maintenance for uninterrupted production.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and detect machine failures to minimize downtime effectively.
- Utilize advanced technology for data collection and analysis.
- Submit work orders and collaborate with maintenance planners for scheduled repairs.
- Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
- Collect oil samples for lab test analysis.
- Recommend necessary equipment upgrades, replacements, or repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and protocols.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field OR 5 years of experience in reliability technology.
- Experience in root cause failure analysis.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Potential willingness to obtain relevant certifications.
