Project Manager- Environmental (Norfolk, VA)

Job Description

HEPACO Inc, the premier environmental and emergency services company in the Eastern United States, is looking for an experienced Environmental Services / ER Project Manager to join their Norfolk, VA branch. The Project Manager will be responsible for organizing, leading, and successfully completing projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Additionally, they will participate in the sales and marketing process, providing essential insights during bidding and quoting phases.

Responsibilities

• Manage project duties including planning, contract compliance, quality control, and resource management
• Participate in bidding and contracting processes with a focus on accuracy and client expectations
• Collaborate with Territory Account Manager and Branch Manager in business development
• Ensure team adherence to company policies, manage expenses, and provide project cost reporting
• Mentor and engage team members, handle personnel matters, and participate in recruiting activities
• Ensure safe operation of vehicles and equipment
• Uphold company mission and values in daily actions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including team leadership
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and experience with Hyland OnBase a plus
• Required certifications: TWIC, eRailSafe, 40-Hour HAZWOPER
