Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care team at Denver Health. In this role, you will work in the fast-paced Medical/Surgical unit, providing high-quality care to patients from various service areas. As an essential part of our healthcare team, you will utilize critical thinking and evidence-based practices to ensure excellence in patient safety and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess the healthcare needs of individuals, families, and communities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient care.
- Monitor and report symptoms, vital signs, and changes in patient condition.
- Modify patient treatment and care plans based on patient responses.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medication, monitor patient progress, and promote positive patient experiences.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- Valid BLS and RN licenses from relevant regulatory agencies.
- Strong adherence to professional nursing standards and ethical practices.
- Ability to use medical equipment, communicate effectively, and react calmly in emergency situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EPIC documentation preferred.
