Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Psychiatric Services team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As an RN, you will apply the nursing process to provide comprehensive and compassionate care across all age groups. Your responsibilities will include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, emphasizing evidence-based practices and effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Upholding professional standards and ethical practices, you will make critical care decisions and prioritize patient needs based on individual conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred).
  • Prior nursing experience is advantageous.

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Active RN license in the State of Vermont.
  • BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Unit-specific certifications such as ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and ENPC may be required.
  • Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in acute-care nursing.
  • Basic computer skills.

Compensation

PAY GRADE: $32.57 - $55.09 per hour. Competitive differentials include $4.25 for 2nd shift, $8.00 for 3rd shift, and $4.75 for weekend shifts. Sign-on bonuses are available for new hires.
