Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Counselor to join our team at Mount Prospect Academy. As a Residential Youth Counselor, you will play a crucial role in supporting and mentoring at-risk youth to help them thrive in a residential environment. Your responsibilities will include providing supervision, implementing social activities, delivering psychosocial education, and fostering positive relationships with the residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and supervision to students.
• Implement social and recreational activities.
• Deliver direct services as per treatment plans.
• Refine students' social and interpersonal skills.
• Be a positive role model and provide emotional support.
• Facilitate daily routines and programming.
• Participate in documentation and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree OR relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
