Job Description
JBI Helicopter Services, located in Abbeville, LA, is currently hiring for the position of Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic . This is a full-time year-round role with additional responsibilities including ground support staff duties and occasional travel. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is safety conscious, adaptable, and customer-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Hold and maintain an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic License.
- Perform helicopter maintenance, including track and balance tasks.
- Ensure aircraft cleanliness and readiness for flight operations.
- Possess the ability to relocate within a 1-hour commute of Abbeville, LA.
Requirements
- A&P Mechanic License (mandatory).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of helicopter maintenance experience.
- Experience with Bell Helicopter products preferred.
- Capacity to lift 70lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
- Proficient in documenting maintenance procedures.
- Own tools required.
Preferred Qualifications
- IA, sheet metal, and avionics experience.
- Training on Bell Helicopter products.
- Commercial driver's license (CDL).
