Job Description
The Server at Silver Diner plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests while ensuring sales generation and operational efficiency. As the face of the brand, you will uphold Silver Diner standards by providing outstanding service, accurately managing orders, and enhancing the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service, greeting and serving guests promptly and courteously.
- Accurately process orders, suggestively sell, and ensure order accuracy.
- Handle POS functions efficiently and process payments promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness, stock levels, and uphold Silver Diner standards at all times.
Brand Delivery
- Adhere to uniform standards and maintain a positive, fun-oriented attitude.
- Uphold SMG scoring standards for Speed of Service and Accuracy of Order.
- Consistently deliver the Silver Diner brand experience.
Cost Balancing
- Ensure proper cash handling and account for all sales accurately.
- Portion self-service items correctly to optimize cost control.
Performance Measures
- Drive positive sales growth and maintain high guest satisfaction ratings.
- Establish strong customer relationships to drive repeat business.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience as a Server or Bartender preferred.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet scheduling requirements.
Physical Requirements
The role involves working with various equipment and in dynamic environments, requiring physical stamina and adherence to safety guidelines.
