2nd Shift LPN - Shift Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift LPN - Shift Supervisor to join our team at Hope Network Behavioral Health. As a key member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide exceptional medical care by overseeing the residents' medical needs and supervising the med room operations. Your role will involve modeling exemplary care, coordinating care with external medical entities, and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing team with medication dispensing, monitoring, and evaluating efficacy.
• Monitor and treat chronic and acute medical conditions within the scope of practice.
• Provide training and hands-on assistance in residents' activities of daily living and self-care tasks.
• Coordinate and implement infection control procedures and quality assurance measures.
• Act as a liaison with external medical providers, guardians, and staff.
• Collaborate with pharmacies and staff on medication orders and treatment plans.
• Participate in the development and implementation of individual treatment plans.

Requirements

• Active State of Michigan Practical Nurse Licensure (LPN).
• Prior experience in a residential setting preferred.
• Experience working with electronic medical records.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
