Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Corporate Counsel, Litigation to support a wide range of litigation matters including antitrust, securities, patent, commercial, and employment disputes. This position requires a practical, business-minded litigator to manage the response to subpoenas and investigation requests.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the strategy and manage day-to-day flow of various litigation matters globally.
  • Interact with functional leaders to advise on ongoing litigation impact and potential strategies.
  • Lead internal investigations and provide legal support for compliance.
  • Ensure effective discovery strategy and execution, including overseeing document review and witness preparation.
  • Develop knowledge of Jazz business, legal requirements, and changes affecting client areas.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 5+ years of relevant legal experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop relationships with diverse individuals.
  • Experience in litigating U.S. state and federal court cases, preferably in pharmaceutical or life sciences.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. and Europe as needed.

Compensation

Jazz Pharmaceuticals offers a competitive base pay range of $204,000-$267,750, with additional benefits such as annual cash bonuses, equity grants, and comprehensive health and retirement plans.
