Salary Range: $86,400 - $107,900/year

Position Summary

The Engineer III (EIII) at EarthScope Consortium provides oversight and leadership for technical geophysical projects, manages field operations, and collaborates with engineers to devise innovative solutions. The EIII is a subject matter expert, ensuring high technical standards are met and providing training to the user community.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical lead for geophysical projects involving multiple technologies.
  • Set strategy and execute scope for assigned projects.
  • Identify and solve complex technical problems creatively.
  • Integrate geophysical technology, firmware, and software.
  • Contribute to the design and testing of new systems.
  • Generate detailed technical documentation and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience with geophysical sensors or networks.
  • Proficiency in data processing, programming, and leading field teams.
  • Experience in systems engineering and design.
