Job Description
Liberty Healthcare Management is currently seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team on a full-time basis in Cumberland County. As a Hospice RN, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients facing terminal illness, emphasizing dignity, strength, and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Apply nursing theories and concepts to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate patient care with the Hospice team, physicians, and families.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel.
- Participate in IDT meetings and quality reviews scheduled by the agency.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience and at least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of home health and hospice care programs.
- Familiarity with nursing practice principles, agency policies, and reimbursement guidelines.
- CPR certification required.
- Willingness to travel as needed, work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
