Job Description
Join Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on a Full-Time weekend schedule. In this role, you will assist in directing nursing services for the unit, delegating responsibilities to nursing personnel, and monitoring patient conditions. You will play a critical role in maintaining patient care standards and providing support to the medical team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall as per the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions indicating changes in condition.
- Notify attending physician of emergencies and implement changes in orders.
- Perform assigned duties effectively to support patient care.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care and follow medical instructions.
- CPR certification and attendance at required training sessions.
