Long Term - Seasonal Grounds Keeper Position

Winchester Country Club is currently seeking individuals to join our team as Long Term - Seasonal Greenskeepers. As a Greenskeeper, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and presentation of our esteemed golf course, contributing to the outstanding golfing experience we provide to our members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Mow various areas of the golf course, including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and clubhouse grounds.
• Ensure bunkers are well-maintained and playable through proper raking techniques.
• Perform divot repair on tees and fairways.
• Remove debris from surfaces and cart-paths.
• Execute summer mowing, string trimming, fall leaf clean-up, and other related tasks.
• Assist in the maintenance and improvement projects of the driving range, practice greens, and short game playing areas.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physically capable of carrying and lifting up to 50 lbs, and being on feet for extended periods.

Working Hours

Shifts available from Monday to Friday, with weekend shifts on Saturdays or Sundays. Start times may vary based on events, holidays, and seasonal daylight.

Compensation

Starting wages range from $17 to $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
