Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician at Freeman Webb Company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the physical plant under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. You will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks, ensuring the safety and functionality of our properties.

Responsibilities

• Participate in various maintenance projects.
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Replace broken items such as glass, tile, carpet, and fixtures.
• Conduct painting and carpentry work.
• Assist with custodial work and groundskeeping.
• Handle stock control and maintenance material utilization.
• Perform scheduled equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of storage areas and entrances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior maintenance experience or related field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Basic math skills.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.

Physical Demands

This role requires physical agility, including the ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and other demanding tasks.

Work Environment
