Job Description
We are seeking a Nursing Graduate to join Grace Medical Center, located in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position involves shifts that may vary between day and night, with a weekend commitment. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide essential nursing care to patients, following the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and organizational protocols. Collaborating with medical staff, you will assess patient needs and ensure quality care delivery while maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in accordance with standards of practice and organization guidelines.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on individual needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain clinical competency to deliver care following current standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Active RN licensure in Maryland or a Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Services nursing experience or 3-5 years of acute care experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Hazmat certification within one year of hire.
