Registered Nurse I- STICU/Burn

Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Nurse I to join our team at the Medical University Hospital Authority. As a Registered Nurse I in the STICU/Burn unit, you will provide individualized and goal-directed patient care following the nursing process principles. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective care, focusing on the physical, emotional, and environmental needs of patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Lead and collaborate with team members to provide age-appropriate care.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and healing environment for patients.
• Coordinate care management principles to improve patient outcomes.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• Licensure as a registered nurse in South Carolina or compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
