Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners, a national nonprofit committed to making quality housing accessible to all. As the Senior Development Officer, you will report to the Senior Director, Development, and will play a vital role in securing funding from various corporate, foundation, and government sources.

Responsibilities

• Immerse in Enterprise's mission and programs to drive the fundraising strategy.
• Collaborate with program staff to develop compelling propositions for potential funders.
• Cultivate relationships with funders, organize meetings and events, and prepare necessary documentation.
• Write and submit proposals and reports in compliance with funder requirements.
• Create customized proposals and recognition opportunities for funders with the support of the Communications team.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce for effective tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of fundraising experience, with expertise in securing significant donations.
• Bachelor's degree and strong writing and editing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce, with willingness to travel occasionally.
• Knowledge of community development and affordable housing industry is a plus.

Benefits

• Salary: $93,000 to $103,000.
