Senior Hardware Development Engineer - AWS Server Engineering
Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Hardware Development Engineer to join the AWS Hardware Engineering team. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, influence industry standards, and develop innovative server solutions to enhance customer experience and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of server products in collaboration with design and manufacturing partners.
- Architect solutions based on customer technical needs and business goals, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality server products to data centers.
- Oversee the quality and performance of developed servers post-launch.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of hardware development experience in system/server architecture and design.
- Experience in design and manufacturing processes, including leading ODMs and suppliers.
- Expertise in server technologies such as Thermal/Mechanical design and high-speed bus design.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in project management and interdisciplinary product design.
- Startup experience and server validation expertise.
- Experience with deploying hardware across large data centers.
