Tissue Processing Technician

Job Description

Biostem Technologies is looking for a dedicated Tissue Processing Technician to support the processing and documentation of tissue for transplantation purposes. As a Tissue Processing Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality assurance requirements and regulations while maintaining equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Process perinatal tissues into allograft products in an ISO 5 environment.
• Complete daily documentation of tissue processing.
• Perform production control on manufactured units.
• Maintain compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Conduct processing area set up and changeovers.
• Perform equipment and facility cleaning.
• Label and package final products.
• Maintain storage of final products.
• Ensure aseptic work environments.
• Perform sterilization of instruments and environmental monitoring tasks.

Requirements

• Knowledge of aseptic technique.
• Bachelor's Degree in science or related field, or Associate degree with relevant experience.
• Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, planning, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• CTBS Certification is desirable.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
